SMECO CoolSentry has replaced the previous Load Management program. Since the new program applies only to A/C units and heat pumps, participants will no longer receive the SMECO bill credits and any water heater maintenance associated with it.
SMECO CoolSentry is offered to customer-members at no additional cost. It is an important upgrade in technology and service that will benefit all of us, but you must enroll in it to receive the incentives outlined below.

A SMECO CoolSentry digital programmable thermostat, yours to keep after we professionally custom install it. There is no charge for this service.*
An annual $50 in thank you credits on your SMECO electric bills, to be paid from June through October.
